Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (XJTLU) is a pioneering international university jointly established by Xi’an Jiaotong University, one of China’s leading institutions, and the University of Liverpool, a prestigious member of the UK’s Russell Group. As the largest Sino-foreign cooperative university approved by China’s Ministry of Education, XJTLU offers a unique blend of Eastern and Western educational excellence.

Providing more than 100 programmes in many fields and XJTLU delivers all courses in English, creating a truly international learning environment. Undergraduate students will earn two degrees: an XJTLU degree from China’s Ministry of Education, and a degree from University of Liverpool. Postgraduate students receive a University of Liverpool degree, also recognised by China’s Ministry of Education.
