King’s College London:

King’s College London, University of London (also referred to as KCL or King’s) was established in 1829 by King George IV and the Duke of Wellington, who was the Prime Minister at the time, making it the fourth oldest university in England. Ranked 16th in the world in the 2014/15 QS International World Rankings and The Sunday Times “Best University for Graduate Employment” in 2012-2013.

With over 26,000 students, including more than 10,600 postgraduates from 140 countries, King’s has a dedicated team to help provide guidance to prospective international students about the application process and living in London, as well as ongoing support once students start their programme of study.

Consisting of eight faculties: the Faculty of Arts & Humanities; Dental Institute; Faculty of Sciences & Medicine; Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience; The Dickson Poon School of Law; Faculty of Natural & Mathematical Sciences; Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery; and Faculty of Social Science and Public Policy; King’s has a growing reputation for the humanities, law, sciences and social sciences, including international affairs, with 23 departments being ranked in the top quartile of British universities on the 2008 Research Assessment Exercise.



King’s College London is a research-led university, based in the heart of London; with five campuses: Denmark Hill, Guy’s, Strand, St Thomas’ and Waterloo, being located around the River Thames.
