The University of Reading has over 125 years of history with origins as a University of Oxford extension college. We are located in the town of Reading which is 25 minutes away via train from central London. Its scenic campus includes a lake, woodlands, gardens and an inspiring architecture.
The University has a branch campus in Malaysia. The programmes there mirror those at the UK campus and follow the same quality standards of curriculum, assessment and teaching delivery.
Founded in 1945, our Henley Business School is one of the oldest business schools in the UK. It is triple accredited by EQUIS, AACSB and AMBA. It is ranked 6th in the UK, 33rd in the world by the European Business School Rankings 2024.
The University of Reading have been ranked in the top 20% of institutions globally 10 years in a row in the QS World University Rankings. This puts in in the top 30 universities in the UK. Over the last 9 years they invested over £500m in our campus and facilities to make it an attractive environment to their students fostering creativity and equipping them with the employability skills they would need for their careers.
The University has about 24,000 students based on our UK campus and 4,000 of them are international. There is a large Thai community of about 100 Thai students on its campus at any given time.
For 2026/27 academic year, the tuition fees are in the range of £25,850-£30,650 per year. The living expenses in Reading can come to between £1,200-£1,400 per month which will include the cost of accommodation, food, entertainment, and occasional trips outside of Reading. To aid international students with their education there are a range of scholarships.

- Whiteknights campus: The main university campus is Whiteknights which is located in a large and beautiful parkland, which was awarded the Green Flag award for 15 consecutive years. This campus is just 25 minutes away via train from central London.
- London Road campus: The London Road campus is home to the Institute of Education, a leading institute for teaching training in the UK. The Great Hall was located in this campus for graduation ceremony, event, concerts, etc.
- Johor, Malaysia Campus: The University has a branch campus in Malaysia. The programmes there mirror those at the UK campus and follow the same quality standards of curriculum, assessment and teaching delivery.
