University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) is a first leading Sino–foreign university open in China since 2004. Established through a collaboration between the University of Nottingham and the Chinese Ministry of Education. UNNC aims to provide world-class education in undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. University of Nottingham ranked among the World’s Top 100 universities, 97th in the world (QS World University Rankings 2026). The university is a member of the UK’s Russell Group, a renowned university with research excellence in the UK.

The campus of the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) has more than 140 acres. Located in Ningbo, a historic port city in Zhejiang Province with a history of over 1,200 years. The university provides facilities and Department of Campus Life that offer full support for international students, along with accommodation options.

Ningbo is a peaceful city with less crowded area unlike tourist cities. As a port city, many foreigners live and travel to this city. So, the city has a diverse food scene featuring both international cuisines and local food such as xiaolongbao and fresh seafood. In addition, Ningbo is only two hours away from Shanghai by high-speed train. Students will be able to make one day trip to Shanghai during their holidays.
