Nottingham Trent University, also referred to as NTU, was established in 1843 and now has around 24,000 students from more than 100 countries. Growing in popularity, which is emphasized by the results from the NSS Survey in 2014, where 90% of students said that they would recommend NTU to future students, it received more than 37,000 applications from around the globe for undergraduate study in 2015. Furthermore, 93% of its graduates gained employment or engaged in further study six months after graduation.

The university is based in the well-known city of Nottingham, which is recognised as one of the less expensive places to study, in the middle of England; with excellent public transportation links, via train and coach. With London, Manchester and Edinburgh being just two hours away by train, and being just one hour away from Birmingham, students can easily fly to other countries such as France and Italy.
