University of Edinburgh:

The University of Edinburgh was established in 1583. It is the sixth oldest university in the English speaking world and considered as one of Scotland’s oldest universities. The University of Edinburgh is one of the world’s top universities and is excellent at research (ranked 4th). Location

Edinburgh is the second best student city in the UK. By the Guardian and Observer newspapers, Edinburgh was voted ‘Favorite UK City’ for an incredible 13 consecutive years. Edinburgh Castle is Scotland’s most visited attraction.

Edinburgh is abundant with cultures and historic buildings, museums, art galleries and theatres in Scotland. Its Georgian and Victorian architecture is very famous and regards as a world heritage site. It is a safe city. World-famous Edinburgh festivals held here annually.

There are 5 campuses: Central Area, King’s Building, Little France, Western General, Easter Bush

Edinburgh has  excellent rail links throughout the UK – the East Coast mainline is the UK’s fastest railway, students can travel between cities around 4 hours. You can travel to Glasgow takes time around 45 minutes. York, Newcastle, Inverness or Aberdeen can be reached in about 2 hours.
