Goldsmiths, University of London:

Internationally renowned for our creative and innovative approach to teaching and research, at Goldsmiths, University of London we offer undergraduate, postgraduate, teacher training and return-to-study opportunities in subjects covering the arts, social sciences, humanities and computing.

We have been part of the University of London for over 100 years, and are ranked 9th in the UK for world-leading 4* research (Research Assessment Exercise 2008). Our academic excellence is illustrated in our membership of the 1994 Group, which brings together a select number of research-focused universities.

Our unique academic approach comes from the interaction of 15 academic departments, together with a number of smaller centres and units. We are committed to avant-garde, radical thinking, which creates an environment that encourages freedom of thought and expression. Many of our former students have become leaders and innovators in their chosen fields – they include Antony Gormley, Mary Quant, Damien Hirst, Bridget Riley, Sam Taylor-Wood, Graham Coxon and Malcolm McLaren.

Students from Thailand have been choosing to come to Goldsmiths for many years. Popular areas of study include Media and Communications, Music, Design and Sociology.

The courses we teach at Goldsmiths have direct relevance to growing and emerging industries such as creative economies, social media and artificial intelligence.

Many of our Thai alumni have gone on to great career success and we currently have graduates working in the below positions: Lecturer at Chulalongkorn, Head of Design at King Mongkut and Fine Artist.
