The UK Study Exhibition 2019

Why attend

This event is for anyone interested in studying in the UK, whether it be for an English course, pathway, undergraduate, postgraduate or research programme. Admission to this event is free, and it is recommended that you pre-register online to save queuing time on the day.

Over 75 UK universities will be in attendance at this fair, including 30 top 30 universities from the Times Higher Education and The Guardian university rankings.

In addition to the fair, UK alumni will be delivering seminars on the following topics.

  • Prepare for a digital future with a Marketing & Digital Marketing course in the UK
  • Be up to date with financial knowledge and business trends by studying Finance & Economics
  • Learn more about the fastest growing study fields, Business Analytics & Data Science
  • Study tips for completing a Law degree in the UK
  • Between a Management degree or MBA which one is the most suitable for you?

There will also be an IELTS Tutorial (IELTS writing component) seminar by British Council IELTS. The Hands On counselling team and UK alumni will be available on the day to speak to prospective students about their experiences of studying in the UK.

Finally, there will be a two part mock IELTS test from 2 pm, which will be held in partnership with British Council IELTS. These tests are free of charge, spaces are very limited and will be available on a first come first served basis on the day.

How to prepare

Prospective students and parents should think about the universities they would like to speak to on the day and it would also be useful to prepare some questions to ask the visiting UK university representatives, such as information regarding entry requirements, tuition fees, living costs, and other important factors which will help to facilitate the decision making process on where to apply.

Students who want to apply on the day, or who want to receive advice on their eligibility for each course, should also consider bringing along the following items if you have them:

  • Statement of Purpose (SoP) / Personal Statement
  • Academic Transcripts
  • CV/Resume
  • IELTS certificate (if taken within the last two years)
  • Two reference letters (at least one academic)

However, it is not necessary to have any or all of the documents listed above to attend the event
